Maria has been involved with the snowboarding scene since 1990 and has over 15 years experience running events, including serving as the Events and Entertainment Director at Burton Snowboards, where she oversaw the Burton Global Open Series. She also worked as the Venue Producer for snowboarding at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City. In her early career Maria co-founded the Utah Snowboard Association, dedicated to opening resorts to snowboarding in the state of Utah and worked as a snowboard judge for the FIS and ISF. She also sat on the ISF Tech Commission. This lead to Maria’s involvement with the launch of the International Judges Commission, an organization dedicated to the education of international snowboard judges, where she served as its president.   Maria is currently the President of M3 Events and Entertainment, where she consults companies on youth marketing, specifically event and entertainment properties. Trained as a lawyer Maria is always alert to make sure the TTR endeavors stay within the law, but her skills and knowledge extend far beyond the legal realm. Maria has been on the TTR Board since 2003 and now sits on the TTR Executive Board, where she helps oversee the strategic planning and operations of the organization, and serves as the North American Representative.
