The Dew Hut Jam (Battle for Supremacy event) concept was developed in 2009 by Mt Dew’s event team together with Australian Snowboarder Russell Holt after a successfully establishing the Battle for Supremacy as a skateboarding event series in February 2009 with skater Renton Millar.

Dew Hut jam 2010 Australian invitational pro snowboard teams event held at Mt Buller. This year the comp had the largest prize purse for the 2010 Aust. season and was supported by TTR world tour. Gatorade laid down some cash for the Rookie award that went to Chris De Campo from team Burton, This should help Chris's funding to stay on the snow for the endless winter! Props to all the riders, the sponsors and teams, Mt Dew, Gatorade, 3CS Outawear, Grenade, Mt Buller and the park crew up there, Russel Holt, Tango Communications team and all the folk that came along to enjoy the show.Also massive props to "Sparechange" Shaun Belmore from Wet Sock Productions and "Made you look" Reason Films for supplying use with some all time great footage so we could tell this story about being an Aussie pro snowboarder and what it takes to live the dream from down here in Aust.Thanks for watching!

Dew Hut Jam 2010 at Mt Buller - Highlights

Team Oakley has taken out the Dew Hut Jam in style, pocketing $12,000 in prize money and proving their metal on a specially built course with ride-able 'house' at its centre.   The Dew Hut was centre stage of the slopestyle snowboard course where the top riders in the Southern Hemisphere went for broke in a bid to win part of the $19,000 cash prize purse. The Dew Hut Jam is the richest freestyle snowboarding contest in the country and is a 3Star event on the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour.

Dew Hut Jam 2010 at Mt Buller, Australia

Fifteen teams of Australia's best freestyle snowboarders will compete for a share of $19,000 in the second annual Mountain Dew Hut Jam on Mt Buller's Bourke Street on Saturday 31 July 2010. The country's richest local freestyle snowboard contest features a massive 2.5 meter high house-proportioned Mountain Dew hut as its centerpiece and established itself in 2009 as a totally unique event, not only due to the hut but as a team event, with each team selecting its best two jibbers to ride together.
