Competition Rules

Format:

ØTwo Run: Competitors have two runs to be scored - best run counts.

ØBoth Junior and Open Class will compete in the same venue/heat but will be judged separately. For example, All Junior Female Skiers will have a judged run and be only judged against each other. Then Junior Female Snowboard followed by Junior Male Ski, Junior Male Board, Open Female Ski, Open Female Board, Open Male Ski and Open Male Board in that order. After each of the eight divisions has a run, we will go through the exact same order for Run Two.

ØIf and only if entry numbers are manageable a third run will be allowed.

ØIn order to keep the day on time no Finals will be held.

§Protective Equipment – Helmets are MANDATORY!!!

Judging Criteria:

The Judges’ Panel will consist of three judges, scoring on the “Overall Impression” system on a score out of 100. The Overall Impression judge looks at the overall composition of the entire run with the emphasis on the following elements:
