Event History

10 years ago we started as the first east and central European Big Air

contest. Each year our event has rosen to a new level. Many professional

snowboarders from across Europe and overseas have participated and the

competition has proven very attractive to spectators. It has pushed the

envelope of Czech and eastern-block snowboard scene to a new frontier and

introduced the public to professional snowboarding. 2010 marked our 4th

year with 3-Star Swatch TTR status. The event was highly respected within

central European snowboard scene. Professional snowboarder Martin Cernik

partnered with production company FREE MEDIA s.r.o. (publisher of Czech

core mag Free Magazine), to organize their 4th annual Quiksilver Snowjam.

The event was held March 10th, 2010 at Spindleruv Mlyn, widely regarded

as the top Czech ski resort. Thanks to infrastructure and location of the

resort we pushed the main snowboarding competition to next level by

creating extraordinary slopestyle course and filming “Live on tape” with 10

TV cameras. The footage was broadcast on CT 4, main National TV Channel.

Evening Life Performance on the Main Stage, Best Trick Contest, and Night

Parties. Combined these made Quiksilver Snowjam 2010 by far the biggest

and most popular winter event in Czech Republic.

Quiksilver Snowjam was held on March 4-5 2011, in Spindleruv Mlyn resort. As in previous years, Quiksilver brought you the opportunity to enjoy the best snowboarding you can see in the Czech Republic this year. TTR Quiksilver SnowJam 2011 Trailer

Quiksilver Snowjam is going to be held on March 4-5 2011, in Spindleruv Mlyn resort again. As in previous years, Quiksilver is bringing you the opportunity to enjoy the best snowboarding you can see in the Czech Republic this year. You can look forward to see the World Big Air Champion, Finnish rider, Markku Koski defend his last year's victory, as well as, other international stars, such as the French rider Mathieu Crépel, winner of two world championships and who holds the first TTR Tour Champion title. These athletes will fighting for the victory with strong competitors, the best Czech riders, such as Jan Necas, Matej Novak or Martin Cernik, who will again assume the role of a co-organizer.
