While the 5Star Burn River Jump is creating a snowboarding frenzy in Livigno, Italy, the Swatch TTR Tour prepares for up and coming events. Two top events, both historically essential parts of the innovative event concept of the TTR World Snowboarding Tour are coming up shortly. On the 5th to the 7th of March 2010 is the 4Star Nescafé Champs, an event that has been rocking our snowboard boots since 1992. This winter the event has gone back to its roots in Leysin, Switzerland. It is an event that oozes a laid back ambience while pushing the progression of snowboarding, this year featuring a perfectly shaped superpipe, a maximum of 500 TTR Ranking points and of course the  $20 000 USD prize-money. The 6Star Oakley Arctic Challenge in Oslo, Norway is another event that has throughout its existence constantly pushed snowboarding to develop and shine in the media spotlight. It is an event known for creating stars! This signature event of the legendary Terje Haakonsen is one of the premiere snowboard events in Europe, and it is shaking things up by taking on a Slopestyle format, attracting quite the riders list. It is an event not to miss and as icing on the cake there is possibility of dramatic changes in the Swatch TTR Ranking.
