What is your favourite place to ride and why?
Absolut park in Austria, because they just have all the sick obsticales...

What age did you start snowboarding?
When i was 8. Haha. 20 years ago.

What snowboarders do you most look up to?
So many. There are riders with insane style and riders who can kill it with their tricks.

What do you focus on most - slopestyle? Pipe? Big Air? and why?
I just love jumping, so as long as it has something to do with that.

What is your most memorable snowboarding experience?
I would say, the trips i did to AK. There are so many sick pow days and so many times i thought i was going to shit my pants.

Your on the road a lot throughout the season - what is your favourite place to visit and why?
I like to go to Bali. Life is just so easy there.

What does a normal day consist of for you when your not snowboarding?
I guess i just try to do something so i won't get bored and at home. So i'll go surfing or work out.

How has TTR affected your snowboarding career?
Thank good for TTR, so we have all these events we can go to! What would snowboarding look like withouth the TTR? Seriously.

TTR ‪Quiksilver Springbattle 2011 - Teaser‬

With a brand new video judging system and in time for spring, the European snowboard elite meets again to throw down during the Quiksilver Spring Battle.Having grown constantly since 2003, the Spring Battle in the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl seems to be the best place for some guaranteed Snowboard Action. Heavyweights such as Marko Grilc, Werner Stock, Seppe Smits and Kevin Backström are some of the riders who will attend the Battle, and this year the elite will compete against the Young Guns."I have been to the Spring Battle five times already, and each time it was a blast. The rider friendly format, the chalets and spring atmosphere are what keeps me coming back. But what stokes me the most is the great setup", said Werni Stock, one of the top riders in the line-up.For the first time this year the winner is determined by video-judging. The best one of three runs in the super finals counts and the run will be evaluated on screen in the evening. Another highlight is the mini ramp in the Chillhouse where the skate scene will battle it out in the Cash for Tricks Session. "As the park sponsor we have been impressed by the great atmosphere at the contest in recent years and we are looking forward to launching a new era at the Absolut Park", said Quiksilver Marketing Manager Armin Weber.
Absolut Park Manager Seppi Harml was also enthusiastic: "As the Manager of the Absolut Park, we are excited about the upgrade of the spring battle. Through the support of our partners, particularly Quiksilver and Snowboarder MBM, we can realize many new ideas. In particular, the video judging and the Skate Contest are two new features, which flash me."The after party will be rocked by the smashing punk sound from Cashless, and an outstanding DJ set from Teddy O (Tony Hawk Show, Air & Style Innsbruck).

TTR Air & Style Innsbruck 2011 - Check the Course with Mark McMorris

This Saturday snowboardings elite meets at the Bergisel Stadium in Innsbruck, Austria for the TTR Air & Style Innsbruck 2011. Riders from all over the world will battle it out, Big Air style, in front of a massive crowd of snowboard fans to win the infamous Ring Of Glory. The jump, which is considered by many to be the best stadium construction ever, seems to be in good condition and it will be interesting to see what tricks the riders will throw down at this TTR 6Star event. TTR - Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 - Teaser

After 4 years away the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour is back in Munich, Germany with the 6Star Nike 6.0 Air & Style event. The Olympia Stadium will host this prestigious event to an enormous crowd of stoked spectators - watching as the worlds best snowboarding talent go head to head in an epic show down.The course will feature a ginormous kicker that goes down into a secondary jump/ stair set - built especially for the show by Nike 6.0. To finish it all off the crowd will get to see legendary American punk rockers, Sum 41, ensuring it really will be an event to remember! So, make sure you set the date February 12th 2011 in your calendar as history may be in the making!

TTR O'Neill Evolution Davos 2011 - Trailer

From January 2nd until the 8th expect to be mesmerised as some of the best snowboarding talent in the world pushes the limits and take to the skies from the halfpipe and slopestyle sitting at the base of the Jakobshorn, in Davos, Switzerland.The 6Star Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour event is once again pushing new boundaries. The event for 2011 now holds a 6Star TTR rating for both the women's Slopestyle as well as the Halfpipe. And this year also sees the 6Star rating for men extended to the 2-hit Slopestyle course for the first time.The Halfpipe finals will take place on Friday January 7th as 10 riders hit the 6 metre high, 130 metre long and 20 metre wide pipe which sits impressively at the base of the Jakobshorn.Saturday sees a day of Slopestyle finals that will run into a floodlit night finale as the riders take to the skies under the gasps of the crowds gathered at the foot of the course."We always want to bring something new and exciting to this event," said O'Neill Global Event Director, Bernhard Ritzer. "It's called Evolution after all," he said. "This year we're changing the Slopestyle radically following feedback from the riders for less but more challenging features, and a mix of day and night riding will bring variation and challenges for the riders."In addition to the spectacular show ahead, there are also new developments behind the scenes. A new judging system -- the Snowboard Live Scoring System (SLS) -- will be introduced allowing everyone to see how judges give points by scoring each trick individually in a rider's run and adding a flow score for the overall impression of the run.With the top ten Swatch TTR World Tour men invited and the top eight women, this is bound to be a week of non-stop action. So far confirmed for O'Neill Evolution 2011 are Seb Toots, Janne Korpi, Gian Simmen, Kjersti Buaas, Sharka Pancchova, Chanelle Sladics, Kelly Clark and Nadja Purtschert with more names to follow in the coming weeks.

TTR - Shaun White And Oakley Present Air & Style Beijing 2010 - Finals

Snowboarders from around the world made the trip to Beijing for the first major event of the Swatch TTR season, where they put on a spectacular display of top-level snowboarding for a crowd of excited Chinese fans. The snowboarders were pleased with the massive gap jump setup built out of scaffolding, which had riders dropping in from 40 meters above the ground in the Olympic Sports Center Stadium. The Air & Style events feature a unique head-to-head format and Sebastien Toutant, who won the event with a Cab 1260 double cork, overtook Smits in the final round beating his respectable backside 1260 for second place. Sebastien Toutant was ecstatic saying, "It's awesome, I think it's by far the best moment of my life, for sure. My first 6Star win, I'm stoked to be in China for the first time. Couldn't have been better than to win the event today!" Elhardt was awarded third place for his backside 1080 double cork.With his win Toutant advanced in the TTR World Rankings to the World No. 3 position. Another young gun, Seppe Smits (BEL), took the second place podium spot and Elias Elhardt (GER) took the third place position.

TTR - Shaun White and Oakley Present the Air & Style Beijing: Day 1

Riders Ready to Go Head-to-head. 
The Riders Draw took place on Thursday evening after riders returned from the stadium. All the Air & Style events feature a unique head-to-head elimination tournament-style format. So, after training, the riders were brought together to choose names out of a hat to see who will go head-to-head in the first round of competition on Saturday. Each rider will have three runs and the rider with the best score moves on to the next round, while the rider who loses is knocked out of competition. Current Swatch TTR Tour leader Gjermund Braaten (NOR) explains, "You gotta be on it from the start and you gotta throw down your best trick from the start to make it." He was paired with Seppe Smits (BEL) who was excited about the match up saying, "Im up against Gjermund for the first run, It's gonna be a tough match, but I'm looking forward to riding and trying out the jump tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. "Austrian Werni Stock was paired with a Norwegian youngun, "I got Stale Sandbech, one of the rookies. He moved in for iouri and is a super tough rider, super young and super motivated. I saw some serious tricks from him like Cab 12 and back 10 doubles. I'm gonna give it my best, wish me luck, I really need it. It's gonna be fun. " Stale was equally nervous about his opponent saying, "Werni Stock picked me. It's gonna be hard! It's gonna be really hard! It's a tough contest going head-to-head, and all the riders are really good. It's gonna be a tough challenge for sure." Andreas Wiig (NOR) comments on his opponent, "I got scotty Lago. He was the only one who hit the jump today so I'm shaking in my pants right now."The riders will have one more day of training tomorrow (Friday) before the action kicks of in front of 15,000 fans on Saturday 4th December 2010. Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour: Progression in Snowboarding

"Progression" is the fourth segment from a collection cut out of the 2009/2010 Swatch TTR TV Show series. The 2009/10 season was a year where the game changed on the TTR Tour with riders learning different variations of double corks in both the pipe and on the slopestyle course. Shaun White, Luke Mitrani and Louie Vito all blew the top off the double cork trend in the halfpipe at the 2009 Burton New Zealand Open and set a new standard on the competition circuit. In this video, we hear from Marko Grilc, Mikkel Bang, Iouri Podladtchikov, Christian Haller, Torah Bright, Torstein Horgmo, Travis Rice and US Snowboard Coach, Bud Keene, on what it's like to do a double cork and how this type of trick has pushed the progression of snowboarding. TTR Billabong Ante Up - 2010/11 Season Opener

The 2010/2011 season of the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour is going to begin with the 5Star Billabong Ante Up big air event on June 26th, 2010 in Whistler, Canada.The 5Star event offers a $50,000 prize purse and 850 Swatch TTR points. Billabong Air&Style Finals - Marko Grilc Moves to World No.1

News Flash: After a night of action on the big air jump at the 6Star TTR Billabong Air & Style 2009/II in Innsbruck, Austria, Marko Grilc took the top spot on the podium and is now the new leader on Swatch TTR World Tour. Grilc was not on the original invite list, but after two injures during practice for the main event, he was given a spot in the legendary snowboard competition.
